Examiners often complain about the lack of structure and coherence found in students work. Far too often students will attempt a 4 or 5 mark question without first considering what pieces of information are required in order to be able to answer the question. In maths it is essential when answering a 4 or 5 mark question that you plan your answer by working in logical steps that can easily be followed. In this way you be able to gain marks even if your final answer is incorrect.
